Video Ads Campain Services
Turn a useful product demonstration, service explanation or customer question into a focused advertising test. Ranknix Media plans and manages video ad campaigns around your offer, audience and next customer action, with agreed boundaries for creative work, tracking and reporting.
Start with a review of your existing videos, website and advertising setup. We will recommend an appropriate platform and scope before you commit to campaign management or production.

What are video ads campaign services?
Video advertising combines a paid distribution plan with a suitable video, a clear message and a destination where customers can act. Campaign services can cover audience planning, account setup, ad copy, approved asset preparation, launch checks, ongoing optimisation and reporting. The signed scope identifies which activities are included.
The objective may be relevant awareness, product consideration, website enquiries or purchases. The right approach depends on what the business can demonstrate, how customers buy and whether important actions can be measured. Views alone do not establish demand or sales.
Campaign management is separate from filming a commercial, publishing organic videos, managing a YouTube channel or replying to every customer message. A boosted video can distribute a post, but does not by itself provide a complete campaign strategy or measurement process.
Who should consider video advertising?
- Retailers and DTC brands: demonstrate genuine product use, with accurate stock, pricing, checkout and fulfilment.
- Established service businesses: explain an offer or answer a common buying question, supported by a useful enquiry page and dependable follow-up.
- Education and training providers: promote verified intakes, eligibility and course information with an admissions team ready to respond.
- B2B teams: explain a product or process and assess relevant conversations or sales-accepted enquiries alongside campaign activity.
Useful starting assets include rights-cleared footage, accurate product information, approved claims and a working destination page. If these are missing, a readiness review or production brief may be the better first project.
This service is unsuitable for expectations of guaranteed virality, purchased engagement or immediate sales. Restricted products, sensitive targeting, account suspensions and unfamiliar regulatory requirements need assessment before a campaign is agreed.
Choose the platform around the goal
Google Ads and YouTube placements
YouTube advertising is bought through the Google advertising system. Appropriate formats and campaign settings depend on the objective, available assets and account eligibility. Where Demand Gen is suitable, its scope needs particular care: it can include inventory beyond YouTube. We agree the intended campaign type and available placement controls before launch.
For wider Google campaign requirements, explore our PPC campaign management services.
Facebook and Instagram video advertising
Video placements on Facebook and Instagram belong to a separately scoped Meta advertising engagement. Using both destinations within the same agreed campaign does not automatically require two management fees. See our social media advertising services for that route.
A limited budget usually benefits from a focused platform, market and objective. Worldwide availability does not mean every campaign runs worldwide. Countries, languages, accounts, working hours and any additional advertising systems are confirmed in your proposal.
What your campaign engagement can include
Work agreed before implementation
Workstream | Practical coverage | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
Business and account review | Offer, audience, existing assets, account ownership, billing and destination checks. | Private settings require authorised access. Account recovery is separate. |
Campaign plan | Objective, platform, markets, permitted audience approach, budget settings and test priorities. | Campaign, group and active-ad quantities are specified in the quotation. |
Creative and copy | Message briefs, ad text and the agreed use or adaptation of approved videos. | Original concepts, edits, durations, formats, exports and revisions are counted separately. |
Destination alignment | Review of the advertised offer, call to action and enquiry or purchase route. | Page development, checkout repair and a full conversion programme need their own scope. |
Measurement | Selection of meaningful events, assessment of existing tags and validation of agreed customer actions. | New tags, integrations, consent changes and developer work need explicit allowances. |
Launch and management | Approved settings, asset and link checks, launch review, monitoring and evidence-led changes. | Monitoring days, optimisation reviews, support and escalation are agreed in advance. |
Reporting | Delivery records, spending and viewing evidence, customer actions, test findings and next priorities. | Confirmed lead quality and sales depend on reliable client records and feedback. |
Make the creative scope clear
An original concept is a distinct message or story approach. A variant changes an element of that approach, such as its opening, offer or call to action. A placement adaptation changes the format for a destination. Resizing a video does not create another original concept.
A production allowance should state the number of concepts and finished edits, maximum duration, source-footage review limit, aspect ratios, captioning and revision rounds. Two edits exported in two ratios produce four files, not four independently developed concepts.
Supplied footage must be suitable for the proposed edit. Filming, photography, actors, animation, voice-over, creator fees, translation and stock or music licences are separate unless expressly included. Music being available in an app does not establish advertising-use rights. Script development can be assessed alongside our content writing services.
How the work moves from review to launch
- Review readiness. Discuss the offer, target market, usable assets, budget, website and follow-up capacity.
- Agree feasibility and scope. Confirm the advertising system, objective, quantities, creative responsibilities, tracking work and dependencies.
- Obtain authorised access. Keep accounts client-owned, use appropriate permissions and let the account owner complete any required authorisation. Password sharing is unnecessary.
- Prepare and approve. Document the plan, approved assets, destination, spending settings and measurement checks before publishing.
- Launch and review. Check delivery and available evidence, investigate issues and make changes appropriate to the data.
- Report and decide. Record what was tested, what remains uncertain and whether to continue, revise, pause or expand.
Onboarding timing depends on complete inputs, access, creative readiness and platform review. For ongoing work, an initial 90-day framework can cover setup and a first test, message refinement, then an investment review. It is a planning framework, not a promise that platform learning, statistical certainty or commercial results will arrive within 90 days.
Monitoring checks for delivery, spending or policy issues. Optimisation is a separate decision about what to change and why. Scheduled ads do not imply continuous staff monitoring or daily edits.
Measure more than video views
Your reporting should separate completed work, advertising activity, customer actions and confirmed business outcomes.
- Delivery: approved assets, launch checks, implemented changes and event-validation records.
- Advertising activity: spend, impressions, available reach, viewing metrics and clicks, using the platform's current definitions.
- Customer actions: loaded visits, substantive conversations, form submissions and recorded purchases.
- Confirmed outcomes: qualified enquiries, validated orders and client-confirmed pipeline where reliable records exist.
A view is not necessarily a unique person. A click is not a loaded visit, and a form submission is not automatically a qualified lead. Google can attribute conversions after eligible video engagement without a click; these must be interpreted using the recorded attribution windows. Click-through, engaged-view and view-through reporting should be identified clearly rather than added together without checking overlap.
We agree which actions matter and how available business records can validate them. Refunds, cancellations, sales cycles, consent and tracking gaps affect interpretation. Different platforms may claim the same sale. Platform-attributed revenue is neither proof of incremental revenue nor profit, and ROAS excludes costs that may matter to your business.
Start with the work your business needs
- No usable video: agree a production brief or bounded adaptation project first.
- Clear offer and suitable assets: assess a focused campaign with one objective and a manageable market scope.
- Broken enquiry or checkout route: resolve the destination before paying for more visits.
- Unclear conversion data: scope tracking assessment and validation before making outcome claims.
- Existing PPC or paid social contract: check whether video placements and management are already covered.
- Organic audience-building needs: scope publishing or channel management separately.
For example, a retailer could compare two openings for a genuine product demonstration while keeping the offer and destination stable. An institute could test a verified intake message and review qualified admissions enquiries. These are illustrative decisions, not claims about Ranknix client results.
Video advertising fees and media budgets
Request a scoped quotation. Your agency fee depends on the advertising system, markets, campaign complexity, creative requirements and technical work. We confirm setup and ongoing management separately, with quantities and responsibilities recorded before work starts.
Advertising spend is separate from agency fees. Prefer client-owned accounts and direct platform billing for media. Filming, original production, licences, premium tools, landing-page development and custom integrations are also separate unless listed in the agreement.
A media plan should reflect the goal, geography, available evidence and number of meaningful tests. We do not recommend spreading a small budget across numerous platforms or countries. Limited data can leave a test inconclusive.
Existing setup, tracking or creative work should be assessed for reuse. Where a current engagement already covers the same campaign management, it should not be billed again as a separate video service.
Frequently asked questions
Not always. Suitable existing assets may support the agreed test. We first assess message clarity, rights, technical suitability and the destination. New filming or substantial production needs a separate brief and quotation.
That depends on the agreed campaign type and settings. Some Google campaign types use inventory beyond YouTube. The campaign plan should identify the selected inventory and available controls rather than imply every video campaign is YouTube-only.
Eligible remarketing may be considered where account access, consent, policies and available audience data permit it. It is not universally available. Sensitive sectors, locations and account conditions can restrict targeting.
The proposal defines assessment, implementation, events and technical hours. A firing tag does not prove a genuine lead or purchase. Server-side integrations require their own feasibility review and do not bypass consent or restore complete attribution.
No. Platforms control approval and delivery eligibility. Outcomes also depend on the offer, creative, pricing, destination, stock and follow-up. Campaign management cannot independently fix those business dependencies.
Within the agreed scope: a campaign plan, approved asset register, launch checks, validation records, change log, reporting and next priorities. Any blocked access or unresolved dependency should be recorded rather than treated as completed work.
Discuss your video campaign
Share your website, target market, objective, available videos, existing advertising setup and approximate media budget. We can then identify a suitable starting engagement and the work that needs separate scope.
