Microsoft Ads Management Services

Assess whether Microsoft Advertising fits your customers, offer and budget. Ranknix Media plans and manages a defined campaign scope, with relevant ads, destination checks and reporting that distinguishes recorded conversions from qualified business outcomes.

Worldwide enquiries are welcome. Accounts, countries, languages, campaign types and working hours are agreed for each engagement.

What is Microsoft Advertising management?

Microsoft Advertising, formerly Bing Ads, is a separate advertising system from Google Ads. Management can include business and account assessment, campaign planning, ad copy, conversion checks, launch settings and ongoing optimisation. Search advertising is one route; Shopping, Audience campaigns and Performance Max have different requirements.

The aim is to connect a useful offer with suitable advertising opportunities and establish evidence for the next decision. Microsoft Advertising is not automatically cheaper, more profitable or appropriate for every business. Its audience and available features should be assessed for your actual market.

Who should consider Microsoft Ads?

  • Service businesses: with clear offers, genuine geographic coverage and dependable enquiry follow-up.
  • B2B and professional firms: able to explain their service and report which enquiries become sales-accepted opportunities.
  • Retailers: with accurate product data, working checkout, stock and reliable fulfilment.
  • Existing advertisers: evaluating an additional system or reviewing an underperforming Microsoft account.

You do not need a Google Ads account to start, but existing research and approved assets may be reusable. A limited budget should not be divided across platforms simply to claim broader coverage. Broken forms, weak offers, missing access or policy concerns may need attention before launch.

Choose the campaign type for the job

Potential routes, subject to eligibility and scope

Route

Key considerations

Search campaigns

Search intent, keyword themes, match settings, negatives, ad relevance and appropriate destinations.

Shopping campaigns

Eligible products, Microsoft Merchant Center, accurate product data and purchase measurement.

Audience campaigns

Suitable creative, permitted audience planning, placement controls and reporting appropriate to non-search activity.

Performance Max

A multi-format, cross-channel Microsoft campaign type. It is not search-only and must be assessed separately from Google's similarly named product.

Eligible remarketing

Audience source, permissions, collection, exclusions and current account eligibility.

Do not assume every feature, placement or targeting option is available in every account or country. LinkedIn profile targeting within Microsoft Advertising, where available, is distinct from running LinkedIn Campaign Manager campaigns. Neither guarantees access to a specific decision-maker.

What your engagement can cover

Business, account and destination review

Clarify objectives, offers, markets and meaningful customer actions. Review ownership, authorised permissions, billing and available history. Check whether the destination explains the offer accurately and supports a usable enquiry or purchase journey.

Campaign planning and ad copy

Map commercially relevant themes to campaign and ad-group structures. Agree targeting, language, scheduling, copy, assets and exclusions. Research themes are not the same as implemented keywords, and available search-term reports may not show every query.

The proposal defines campaign, ad-group, ad and revision limits. Original concepts, copy variants and resized assets are counted clearly. Creative production, feed work and additional campaign types are not automatically included in Search management.

Google Ads imports with Microsoft-specific review

An import can provide a starting structure where supported. It is not a substitute for checking compatibility, tracking, destinations, budgets, bidding, exclusions and network settings. We review imported settings before launch and agree whether subsequent imports should run. Results on Google do not establish likely results on Microsoft.

UET and conversion-goal assessment

Microsoft's Universal Event Tracking, or UET, supports conversion measurement and audience features. Installing a tag is different from validating the conversion goals it feeds. We define agreed actions and check test evidence, values and duplicate handling where included.

GA4 and Google Tag Manager do not by themselves establish Microsoft conversion measurement. Consent signals, collection settings and technical dependencies require review for the actual setup and markets. Server-side work does not bypass consent or restore complete attribution. Developer work and complex integrations require explicit scope.

Budgets, launch checks and ongoing decisions

Agree budget settings and approval limits, then check ads, destinations, targeting and measurement before launch. Platform spending rules must be understood; an average daily budget should not be described as a universal hard daily cap.

Review available query evidence, spend, conversion quality and campaign settings at the agreed frequency. Monitoring does not imply continuous staffing or daily changes. Tests should answer a specific question when the available data can support a useful decision.

A practical delivery process

  1. Assess readiness: review the offer, account, destinations and existing contracts.
  2. Confirm scope: select the platform route, market and measurable action; record dependencies.
  3. Prepare and approve: configure agreed work and obtain client approval for claims, assets and budgets.
  4. Validate and launch: record checks and resolve launch blockers before spending.
  5. Review and decide: report completed work, available evidence and the next priorities.

An initial evaluation period can establish a baseline and support suitable tests. It cannot guarantee enough data, completed platform learning or financial results. Platform review, access delays and technical dependencies can change launch timing.

Deliverables and responsibilities

Your proposal identifies brands, accounts, websites, countries, languages, campaigns, ad groups, ads, conversion goals, technical hours and review calls. Deliverables can include a findings register, campaign plan, approved copy, configuration record, validation evidence, launch checklist, change log and reporting.

You retain account ownership and approve business information, access, offers and budgets. Use authorised permissions rather than password sharing; account owners complete authentication when required. Ranknix completes the signed scope. Developers or specialists handle separately agreed engineering, consent changes and complex integrations. Client teams remain responsible for sales follow-up, customer support, stock and fulfilment.

For example, a B2B business might compare submitted forms with sales-accepted opportunities before increasing budget. A retailer might resolve price mismatches before promoting products. These are illustrative decisions, not Ranknix case studies.

Microsoft Ads management pricing

Request a quotation based on campaign scope, market coverage, creative and implementation requirements. Assessment, new setup and ongoing management are distinct engagements.

Agency fees are separate from advertising spend. We prefer client-owned accounts with media billed directly by Microsoft. Premium tools, call tracking, product-feed services, production, translation, landing-page development and custom integrations are separate where needed.

We check existing PPC agreements before adding fees for reusable research, tracking, copy or onboarding. A second platform can create additional management work, but reused assets should not be billed as newly produced work. Media planning considers geography, campaign scope, testing needs and available commercial evidence without promising an acquisition cost.

Reporting that separates activity from business outcomes

  • Delivery: approved assets, launches, changes and validated tests.
  • Advertising activity: spend, impressions, clicks and available query or placement evidence.
  • Customer actions: loaded visits, calls, submissions and recorded orders.
  • Confirmed outcomes: qualified leads, validated purchases and client-confirmed pipeline where reliable records exist.

A phone click is not a connected call; a submission is not a qualified lead. ROAS is not profit, and platform CPA differs from acquisition cost including agency fees and other expenses. Report branded and non-branded activity separately where the available evidence permits.

Attribution windows, view-through reporting, consent gaps and channel overlap affect interpretation. Do not add Google and Microsoft conversion totals and call them unique sales. Refunds, cancellations, seasonality and sales cycles matter. Attributed conversions alone do not demonstrate incremental impact.

Microsoft Ads Frequently asked questions

Is Microsoft Ads the same as Bing Ads?

Bing Ads is the former name. Microsoft Advertising includes advertising opportunities beyond Bing Search, depending on campaign type and eligibility.

Can you import an existing Google Ads account?

Where supported and authorised, an import can help reuse structure. Microsoft-specific settings and measurement still need review; a copy is not a validated launch.

Are Microsoft clicks always cheaper?

No. Auction conditions, markets, intent and campaign settings vary. Lower click cost also does not establish better lead quality or profit.

Does the fee include Shopping, Audience and Performance Max?

Only when the signed proposal explicitly includes them. Each can add creative, product-data, measurement and management requirements.

Can you guarantee approval or results within a fixed period?

No. Approval and eligibility are controlled by the platform, while results also depend on demand, competition, offer quality and the customer journey.

Will Microsoft advertising improve organic rankings?

Advertising spend and campaign conversions do not automatically improve organic rankings or generate AI citations. Paid advertising and organic search optimisation are separate work.
