Video Marketing Services

Help customers understand your products, services and expertise through useful video. Ranknix Media helps you plan what to communicate, choose suitable destinations and define the work needed to publish, promote and evaluate it.

Start with your business goal and available assets. We can then scope the appropriate planning, content, optimisation or advertising engagement, with production and ongoing management clearly identified.

What is video marketing?

Video marketing uses relevant video content to explain an offer, answer customer questions and support decisions. It connects the message, format, distribution and next customer action. A product demonstration, service explanation or expert answer should have a purpose beyond accumulating views.

Depending on your needs, an engagement may cover audience and content planning, script briefs, suitable existing footage, channel information, publishing preparation, discoverability or paid distribution. Your quotation identifies the work included. Discussing these activities does not mean every service is bundled into one fee.

Making a video is production. Publishing it is distribution. Improving its presentation and discovery is optimisation. Buying exposure is advertising. Each needs suitable inputs, permissions and an appropriate way to assess progress.

Who should consider video marketing?

  • Service and professional businesses: explain how a service works and help customers evaluate the next step.
  • Retailers and direct-to-consumer brands: show genuine product use, care and differences that photographs may leave unclear.
  • Education providers: answer verified admissions, course and eligibility questions.
  • B2B teams: make processes and products easier to understand through reviewed expert explanations.
  • Businesses with existing footage: assess whether useful material can support a focused content plan instead of commissioning everything again.

You need accurate information, an available subject expert, rights-cleared assets, timely approvals and a useful enquiry or purchase route. If filming, follow-up or the destination is not ready, address that dependency before increasing publishing or media spend.

This is not a suitable engagement for guaranteed virality, purchased views, fake testimonials or unsupported product claims. Sensitive sectors and unfamiliar jurisdictions may need specialist review.

Review your goals, assets and customer questions

Identify the offer, priority audience, existing videos, channel access and next customer action. Review the information a buyer needs and the expertise your business can contribute. Prioritise a manageable group of messages rather than an arbitrary volume of videos.

Plan the content and format

Map suitable topics to demonstrations, explainers, short answers or longer educational content. Confirm the destination and viewing context before specifying duration, aspect ratios, captions and calls to action. Shorter is not automatically better; the format should suit the message and audience.

Define creative and production responsibilities

Record who supplies footage, presents, checks claims and approves the work. Editing supplied footage differs from creating original animation or arranging a shoot. Poor source audio or missing shots may require new recording. Any production or specialist editing needs a confirmed brief and quotation.

Prepare publishing and discovery

Where commissioned, review channel information, relevant titles and descriptions, thumbnails, captions and links. Website video work may need developer support for the player, page content, loading behaviour and search eligibility. A thumbnail or description change cannot guarantee distribution.

Evaluate the next step

Define reporting around the objective and available data. A useful result could be a clearer content decision, a validated enquiry route or evidence that an asset needs revising. Approved deliverables, test findings and unresolved dependencies should be recorded.

Know what counts as a deliverable

An original concept is a distinct message or story approach. A variant changes an element such as the opening or call to action. An adaptation changes an existing asset for another format or destination. A placement is a published use of an asset.

One concept edited into two cuts and exported in two ratios produces four files. It does not represent four original concepts. Your scope should specify concepts, scripts, finished edits, export ratios, thumbnails, caption files, publishing placements and revisions.

Also agree the maximum source footage reviewed, final duration, languages, accounts, websites, technical hours and approval rounds. Filming, advanced animation, voice-over, talent, travel, translation, music and stock licences are separate unless expressly listed.

How the project works

  1. Review: discuss the business goal, audience, existing assets and customer journey.
  2. Prioritise: decide whether strategy, content readiness, discovery or advertising should come first.
  3. Scope: agree outputs, quantities, responsibilities, access, approval dates and costs.
  4. Prepare and implement: complete the approved work and involve the client or specialist where required.
  5. Check and hand over: validate the agreed items, record limitations and provide the relevant assets or configuration records.
  6. Review: use available evidence to recommend the next action or a separately scoped ongoing engagement.

Accounts remain client-owned. Use appropriate permissions rather than sharing passwords; the owner completes required authorisations. Timelines start after complete inputs and depend on approvals, production and platform eligibility.

Customer deliverables can include an asset inventory, findings register, content priorities, briefs, approved assets, publishing records and recommendations. Only the deliverables in your agreement are included. Ongoing calendars, monitoring and reporting need their own service scope.

Plan around a useful customer decision

A retailer might show how a product fits or works, then link to an accurate product page. An institute might answer an admissions question using verified course details. A service business might explain what happens after an enquiry and assign someone to follow up.

These illustrative approaches show why the video, destination and business process need to work together. They are not Ranknix case studies or promises of increased sales. The starting point is the customer question and available evidence, followed by a bounded production and distribution plan.

Measure delivery, engagement and business outcomes separately

  • Delivery: approved briefs, finished assets, completed improvements and published placements.
  • Platform activity: available impressions, views, watch time, engagement and audience information, using the platform's current definitions.
  • Customer actions: loaded website visits, substantive conversations, enquiries and recorded orders.
  • Confirmed outcomes: qualified leads, appointments or validated purchases where reliable client records exist.

Repeated views are not unique people. A click is not a loaded visit, and a message-button tap is not a substantive conversation. Viewing metrics differ across formats and platforms; overlapping audiences should not be added into a unique total.

Attribution depends on available tracking, consent, reporting windows and customer behaviour. Paid platforms may attribute the same sale. Revenue and ROAS do not establish profit, and a change after publication does not by itself prove the video caused it.

How much do video marketing services cost?

Request a scoped quotation based on your goal, available footage, production needs, destinations and implementation requirements. A one-time assessment, an editing project and ongoing campaign management have different costs and deliverables.

We agree the agency fee, currency, billing basis and included quantities before work starts. Advertising spend, production beyond the agreed allowance, software, hosting, licences, translation and development are separate unless included explicitly.

Existing scripts, assets, account setup or campaign management should be checked for reuse. The same work should not be charged again through overlapping video, content, SEO or advertising engagements.

Worldwide service availability does not automatically include local filming, every language, every platform or continuous support. Confirm markets, accounts, working hours and production arrangements in your proposal.

Frequently asked questions

Do you film and produce the videos?

Production requirements are assessed separately. Tell us whether you have finished videos, usable footage or need a new shoot. We confirm feasible delivery, specialist involvement and the exact production allowance before agreeing the project.

Can we use footage recorded by our team?

Potentially. We need to review its technical quality, completeness, message and usage rights. A supplied-footage project does not include unlimited footage review or extensive reconstruction.

Is video SEO the same as video advertising?

No. Video SEO supports discoverability of eligible content. Advertising buys distribution through a selected advertising system. Neither guarantees enquiries or sales, and media spend is separate from optimisation fees.

Will posting video improve our Google rankings?

Posting a video does not automatically improve rankings or produce AI citations. Useful page content, appropriate technical implementation and search eligibility matter. Paid views and engagement are not proof of organic visibility gains.

Are music, subtitles and extra formats included?

Only as specified. Confirm rights for the intended organic or advertising use, caption language and accuracy checks, export ratios and revision rounds. Platform music availability does not establish every commercial usage right.

How soon will we see results?

Delivery timing depends on access, assets and approvals. Audience response is uncertain, and limited data can leave tests inconclusive. We do not guarantee views, followers, rankings, leads or a fixed return timeline.
